Vintage Austrian Crystal Choker Necklace
Vintage choker necklace is perfect for a wedding, prom or other formal event, and features clusters of brilliant Austrian crystal chatons and marquises in burnished goldplate setting. Though unmarked, this may be a Schoffel piece, as it bears the characteristic workmanship and construction. The large chatons are set into cupcake style mountings, and the actual settings of the stones in each cluster are soldered together before plating. Also, each cluster is linked with o-rings so it drapes very supply across the neck. The neck chains are also set with stones, with one end having the alternate stone and ring setting that is seen mostly with Schoffel and Schreiner necklaces. Up to 15 1/2" length, with hook closure for adjustable fit. Condition is spectacular, with virtually no plating wear, and stones all divinely clear and sparkling. - $165
