1940's Sterling Vermeil Bow Brooch ~ Blue Stones
This large showy bow brooch hails from the 1940's and would look great on a blazer or coat. Sterling vermeil, set with a large oval-cut cerulean blue center stone, and rows of cerulean blue chatons. The color of the blue was hard to capture, but it is indeed a bluer-blue than in the photo. 3 7/8" across; marked Sterling on reverse-applied cartouche. Excellent vintage condition with mild and inconspicuous surface wear; no loss of plating front or back. - $65

One of a series of three-dimensional "shadowbox" diorama pins, the type shown in Fabulous Fakes by Carole Tannenbaum. The pin is a shiny brass metal with painted scenic background, and dimensional enameled sailboat and dock. There is even a bit of mesh to represent a fishing net. 2" x 1 1/2". Excellent condition apart from an inconspicuous touch of enamel loss on the boat dock. - $115

Flying Colors Ceramic Winter Theme Mittens Necklace
This darling and whimsical ceramic necklace in the FLYING COLORS line is a great winter theme item, with three colorful mittens. Perhaps there are some kittens looking for them? The bright colors in the tubular and round beads, including polka-dot and striped, are most definitely eye-catching. Some of my teacher customers who buy these report that their young pupils really get a kick out of these. 21 3/4" length, with mittens measuring 2". Beads are securely strung on nylon, and clasp is the metal screw-barrel type. Excellent condition with no obvious crazing or other defects. - $165
