1940's Vintage Ruby Red Floral Spray Pin Brooch
Beautiful 3 3/4" brooch, circa 1940's, has a very DeRosa look about it; it is very high quality, superbly made, and appears to be a delphinium or other type of flowering stalk. Ruby red glass stones positively glow. Potmetal setting with goldwash; center flower is made riveted on and is set with clear rhinestones. Clear rhinestones are also in the leaves. Two heavy parts are riveted together in the back. All stones are intact and in good color. Some mild scratching and fading of the goldwash, but overall a magnificent, quality piece. Lovely vintage unsigned Pastelli brooch (3 3/8") and (1 1/8") clip earring set. Orchid flower with hot pink enameling, multicolored rhinestone "stamens" set into the center, brushed goldtone plating. Brooch has very dimensional petals, and measures 3 3/8". Condition overall is excellent, apart from a few tiny fleabite enameling nicks at the petal edges (observable only upon close inspection). - $45

Similar in style to the lucite resin flower pins, this wonderful rose pin has dimensional enameled plastic petals, tinted in light purple and outlined in black, and center clusters of tiny blue rhinestones. Magnificent and substantial -- a trio of artisan-crafted ceramic red poppy floral pendants are strung with round beads in black and black with slightly raised white polka dots. Made by PARROT PEARLS (Candace Loheed and Bean Finneran) in the 1980's/90s. Perfect for Remembrance Day, or simply to celebrate summer. Red poppies measure 2 1/4 - 2 3/4".
