Mazer ? Enameled Flower Seller Fur Clip
This wonderful 3 1/4" double-pronged fur clip is from the 1940's and depicts an exotically costumed blackamoor flower seller. Although unmarked, it is either Mazer or an extremely well-done copy from the same time period. (A signed version with different colors is depicted in Brunialti's costume jewelry reference book A Tribute to America: Costume Jewelry 1935 - 1950. Whereas the Brunialti example is primarily enameled in black, this fur clip is enameled brown and has other enamel and rhinestone color differences.) This is truly a masterfully crafted piece, of rich detail and good quality. There are so many different colors of enameling in the clothing and floral details; the lady's garments are set with tiny yellow rhinestones, and other colorful rhinestones are set into the flowers, her headdress, earrings and costume. The base metal is nicely finished on the back, although I am not sure whether the plating is rhodium as it is not quite as shiny as other rhodium pieces I've seen. Condition is excellent with enameling, plating and rhinestones intact. Another View - $1575

Vintage 1940's figural apple fruit fur clip, nicely enameled with ruby red glass stones, clear rhinestones. Unmarked. Goldtone setting. 2 1/4" height; excellent condition. - $55
Large Aqua Blue & Clear Fur Clip
This huge 3 1/8" double-pronged fur clip is set with brilliant clear and aquamarine-blue glass stones and pastes. It reminds me so much of Eisenberg, but the only mark is what appears to be the number four (or a teepee shaped mark) on the back (possible a stonecutter's mark). Base metal with a very smooth finish; excellent condition with beautiful stones, plating intact.

This is truly a beautiful, well-crafted fur clip -- an enameled potmetal gazelle or similar horned animal. The colors are varied, and subtly shaded. Circa 1940's. 2 1/8" height. Unmarked, but has a definite designer look to it. Excellent condition. - $145

Vintage 1940's enameled fur clip may be from the same maker as the parade drum major and majorette fur clip pair available on Jazzle Dazzle. Enameled red and white, with clear rhinestone accents and a green rhinestone eye. Unmarked base metal, with a goldtone clip. 2 1/2" across. Miriam Haskell Autumn Colors Glass Bead Dress Clip
Lovely unsigned Miriam Haskell dress clip is comprised of overlapping textured brass flowers and glass beads in harvest colors. This was part of her Fall colors collection which is referenced on pp. 131-32 in Miriam Haskell Jewelry, Gordon & Pamfiloff. Elements are wired to a pierced plastic backing; 2 3/4" total diameter. Very good overall condition except for the three faux pearls which have lost their coating. - $165

Strands of brown glass beads are interwoven and threaded through wood bell-shaped beads in this unsigned dress clip which looks like it could be Haskell or Czech. Elements are sewn to pierced plastic backing. 1 3/4" height; very good condition. - $85
