GAYLES OF LAUGHTER Resin Necklace for the Dog Lover! Another GAYLES OF LAUGHTER artisan theme necklace -- this one for the dog lover who has everything -- called "Beware of Bitch." It is made of resin beads and figurals, including a large dimensional beribboned floppy-eared pooch, dog bones, a bowl of dog food, sacks of dog food, and (ahem) even a newspaper with a little "present" on top. There is a "Beware of Bitch" tag near the clasp, and though the artist Gayle did not sign this one, I know it to be her work. 25" in length. - $120

Beautifully made vintage necklace features three draping strands of crystal and plastic beads, including blue-lavender aurora borealis crystals, baby blue beads cut in an interesting shape, and blue and white "puzzle" beads with fluted discs that fit together. Blue enameled metal caps. tiny milk white and blue crystal spacer beads add a nice detail. Clasp ends are set with clear rhinestones. Metal is silvertone. Unsigned, but of distinct quality. Early Celluloid & Wood Mexican Sombreros Necklace
This necklace is just amazing -- a real oldie but goodie! Circa 1920s/30s, this sautoir necklace features finely woven Mexican sombrero hats that look like straw, but are actually celluloid. Painted wood barrel charms hang from each hat. 18 1/4" metal chain connects the hats, with center drop measuring 3 1/2". Very good condition for its age, apart from some paint loss/fading to some of the barrels, and darkening to the chain. This is a normal patinization; I see no green verdigris. - SOLD
Modernist Tan Lucite & Goldtone Collar Necklace
Neat vintage segmented collar necklace has a sculpted, modernist design. Tan lucite or plastic centerpiece is accented with goldtone metal; smaller, rigid curved tan plastic links continue around neck. The last segments each end in a hook and ring closure. Total length is approximately 16". Unmarked but has the look of Napier, Monet of Trifari. Excellent condition. - $30
1950's/60's Modernist Aqua Plastic & Chrome Necklace
This is one incredible retro piece -- so typical of the 1950's/60's Eames era space-age geometric lines -- a kind of Art Deco revival style. Of course this turquoise-y aqua color just screams 1950's/60's, and silver chrome metal discs, separators and rounds enhance the look. The pieces are fit so snugly together I can't quite tell what it's strung on, but it seems quite secure, a well-made piece finished at the ends with crimped beads and spring-ring clasp. The long wedges at the base of the necklace measure 2" height; total necklace length is 18 1/4". Marked JAPAN. Excellent condition with minimal surface wear, and one small bubble/dent in one of the panels. - $140
MONET Space Age Mod Red & Gray Lucite Necklace
This is a fabulous space-age look necklace by Monet, so modernist with lucite cylinder and disc beads in smoky gray, wine red, pearlized white in the center (accented by smaller goldtone metal discs), with upper strands of translucent wine-red round beads. The necklace actually fits more like a choker (my model has a very slim neck). 18" length with spring-ring clasp. Excellent condition. - $45
Ellelle Italy Blue & Gold Fruit Charm Necklace
Pale blue and gold colored dangling charm necklace by Ellelle Creations (Italy) feature plastic fruits, gilt metal leaves and blue Venetian glass leaves, all connected to a series of goldtone rings around twisted and knotted blue fabric cord. Metallic gold thread is stitched throughout the two-tone cord; ends are finished in goldtone metal caps and hook and chain closure. Original tag is still attached. 17 3/4" maximum length (fit can be adjusted smaller if desired). Very good condition apart from a couple spots of tarnish to a metal leaf. - $100
